In Boardmaker 7, features from previous generations have been combined in a new software that runs on Windows, Mac and Chromebooks in 14 languages. It can be used by students via traditional computer interfaces, via touch screens, eye gaze and several other access options, making Boardmaker the most accessible platform on the market. The Boardmaker Semesterware program is designed for college and university professors training special education, assistive technology, and speech pathology students to give their students access to Boardmaker Online as part of their coursework while they are enrolled in your institution. Boardmaker: Interactive Features MAC – Apple Version KISN is funded through the Kansas State Department of Education's Special Education Services by a Title VI-B grant. The PCS symbols are translated into 44 languages and used to create and personalize communication and education activities. These symbols have also recently been introduced in Google’s Action Blocks for Android and in several of Microsoft’s Office products.
Over the past years, Tobii Dynavox has successfully transitioned Boardmaker to a Software as a Service (SaaS) offering with strong user growth and excellent user retention. Five Finger Typist 2.2 is a typing tutor that teaches one handed touch typing on the standard keyboard for individuals who only have use of one hand. This program contains a structured and comprehensive set of typing exercises for both the right and or left hand use.
